In employing Direct Submit, you are confirming you agree to the company terms & conditions.
Direct Submit will carry out work only where an agreement is provided in writing. We will carry out work only for clients who are 18 years of age or above. An 'order' is deemed to be a written or verbal contract between Direct Submit and the client, this includes written and email agreements.

"The Client" agrees to allow Direct Submit to showcase any/all work created in the course of a project as part of Direct Submit portfolio. Direct Submit acknowledges the confidential nature of projects and agrees to only display project work once product/site has been publicly launched/commences.
Website & Design Projects
The website, graphics, copy, concepts, ideas, proofs and illustrations and any programming code remain the property of Direct Submit until all outstanding accounts are paid in full.
Any scripts, cgi applications, php scripts, or software (unless specifically agreed) written by Direct Submit remain the copyright of Direct Submit and may only be commercially reproduced or resold with the permission of Direct Submit.
Direct Submit cannot take responsibility for any copyright infringements caused by materials submitted by the client or used by the client in the future on their website. We reserve the right to refuse any material of a copyrighted nature unless adequate proof is given of permission to use such material.
Direct Submit will not be liable for costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings due to the failure to meet agreed deadlines.

Website Design - Project Delivery
(i) Direct Submit shall develop and deliver to the Client the Draft Version. Upon delivery of the Draft Version, the Client shall request in writing any changes required to the Draft Version after which period Direct Submit shall inform the Client, in its reasonable opinion, of which amendments it shall consider acceptable, appropriate and technically feasible and Direct Submit shall incorporate such amendments into the Development Version.
(ii) Direct Submit shall Develop and deliver to the Client the Development Version. Upon delivery of the Development Version, the Client shall within 14 days request in writing any changes required to the Development Version after which period Direct Submit shall inform the Client, in its reasonable opinion, of which amendments it shall consider acceptable, appropriate and technically feasible and Direct Submit shall incorporate such amendments into the Final Version.
(iii) Direct Submit shall deliver the Final Version incorporating the agreed amendments to the Client. Upon completion and delivery of the Final Version Direct Submit shall provide the Hosting Services where purchased.
Graphic Design & Branding
All design work is carried out by Direct Submit on the understanding that the client has agreed to abide by Direct Submit's terms and conditions. Copyright of all graphic design work is retained by Direct Submit including copy, concepts, ideas, proofs and illustrations (unless specifically released in writing) until after all invoices have been settled.

SEO & Internet Marketing
Direct Submit Internet Services, nor any other reputable SEO company, can promise traffic gain, guaranteed SEO placement results or more sales because of any Internet Marketing project. Normally the end result of the Internet Marketing process will be more traffic, better rankings and more sales. However, as said, no reputable SEO company can promise this.
Any SEO process takes an absolute minimum of four to six months to show some significant effect. During this time the client site will be analysed and optimised within the timelines and resources specified in the agreement. Achieving stable high rankings can take up to 12 months and all SEO projects should be viewed as long term projects.
Direct Submit Internet Services use both paid for and free submission services including MSN, Yahoo, Goggle & other search engines. The actual search engines and directories submitted to may change, and Direct Submit Internet Services reserve the right to update the submissions list as they feel best meets the client's SEO project needs.
Bugs and Viruses
All software created by Direct Submit is checked for Viruses using AVG Antivirus and Direct Submit accepts no responsibility for and bears no liability for any viruses discovered subsequent to Direct Submit’s delivery of the Final Version to the Client.
Payment & Terms of Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required with all of our projects before any design work will be carried out, unless agreed otherwise with Direct Submit.
Once a website has been designed and completed the final balance of payment is then due in accordance with our payment terms, usually within 30 (thirty) days. There are no exceptions to this, i.e If the client decides they no longer want the site, as they have commissioned the work and paid a deposit they are still obliged to pay for the work that has been done. Non payment will result in legal action being taken if necessary.
Once full payment is received for a website, it is assumed that the project has been completed to the clients satisfaction and no refunds can be offered.
